Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American actress and singer. She is best remembered for her portrayal of Layla Grant, in Nashville (2012) drama, and Claudia Shepard from Sharknado (2013). The actress also had the role of the title character in the movie Jem and the Holograms, (2015). Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary, Florida by her parents Wendy and Ashley. She is the younger sister of Ally. Aubrey appeared at the Orlando Repertory Theatre in her young age for 10 years. She was a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School, where she delivered the valedictory for the 2012 class. Harvard University accepted her but agreed on entry twice the second time to accept her part in Nashville. Peeples guest-starred in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and also had a recurring role in Necessary Roughness (1991). Peeples was a part of the TV film Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009) as well as The Good Mother. She played a prominent role for the Nashville series, where she played Layla Grant. Peeples talked about her bipolar disorder in an interview she gave the magazine NKD Magazine. Indiewire ranked Peeples as the highest on its list of top actors who are younger than September of 2014.
